Hi there! I am from Spain (ELCHE), The Meca of the shoe industry, I grew up around factories, textile, my Mum did work sewing artisanal fine end shoes…
My logo is my westy, she was 13 years old @naya_theblondishdressing, she has been with me in so many countries all the time together and I know a dog’s life is much shorter than ours. I want her with me forever. And though this was a really good idea also because her soul is so nice I can’t be wrong she always brings me good things.
So, I really think I have this sense in my blood.
I love heels and sport wear shoes so much… I am this woman who choose my look of the day depending on the shoes I am wearing… but sometimes, those spectacular 12cm heels can be a pain in…
So, I decided to give life all those ideas, designs finding and working that heel so sexy and COMFORTABLE.
SHOES are the MOST complicated accessory to do. It’s really really difficult to develop a fine end collection and more if my challenge was to make it comfortable as well.
My collection is for a woman who likes fashion and loves shoes but maybe can’t wear them. I did the same model different height of heel some thin, thick 12cm, 9CM, 6cm 4cm leather sole or…. the winner RUBBER SOLE feels like wearing sneakers!!! On 6, 4 cm, what that means if you are 25 or 55 years old, you can be comfortable trending.
Styles are sophisticated and also, others more rock and rock…
I also have a Bride line… no more hard time on the best day of your life… the bride will be so beautiful and comfortable.
I’ll be at @coterie sep 15-17 New York. All retail stores and clients are more than welcome. It’s elevated contemporary accessories and footwear for woman event.
And I’ll be online OCT 2019. WWW.BLONDISH.COM
All the shoes are designed by me and made in Spain. With elite materials and hand made by artisans with more than 50 years of experience.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way? Wow, it’s been so many… as I said before, shoes are a nightmare to make… It has so many precoces and goes around so many different hands from the sole to the retail. I had to do the same shoes sometimes three times to gain the comfortable until I get the perfect pattern, etc., etc.
My advice to other women who want to start her new collection is: DO IT and be mentally prepared because it’s really complicated and the most important thing is to build the perfect team who can get your idea and is really good for making your product.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of. I am proud because when someone tries on my shoes, they all said: wow, it’s so comfortable. Also, because when I had met retailers for selling in their store, I heard more than one time… I DON’T KNOW WHICH ONE I DON’T LIKE IT.
Sets me apart from others that my line makes your daily look so comfortable no matter the occasion.
I worked hard for the comfort.
Looking back on your childhood, what experiences do you feel played an important role in shaping the person you grew up to be? I have always been in fashion and very interested in it, I am a fashion stylist and I work as a stylist and personal shopper in New York a few years.
I think I really know about the taste of many different women.
